Freedom from Financial Pressures

While I’m not saying I’m free of the financial burden, I have a better way of dealing problems when they do arise. My house costs are no longer an obstacle for me. Additionally, I do not have pay for things in order to satisfy my neighbors. Instead I am looking at how my money are able to benefit me and the ability to live a full life. Realizing that each of us can only have a certain amount of days on this planet, I am aware that I don’t want to waste the precious time chasing other people’s desires. Instead I think that I’m doing what I can for my planet and my own self by reducing my carbon footprint and being more present to the wonders of the natural world.

It’s a trade-off that I’m never equipped with the most modern gadgets, or keep up-to-date with the latest shows on television. In exchange for that, I receive the freedom to become the sole director of my personal life and paint my own picture of it the way that I want to. The people who set my schedule don’t do it for me, and I don’t have to stress all the time about where my next paycheck is coming from. Instead I live each day as I want to and am content with every minute of it.

The Growing Pains

I want to end with a reality check. It is not easy for everyone to give up and leave their home. There is no doubt that many people live lives more complicated than mine. They have commitments and obligations that are over my head. Many people live a happy and comfortable existence.
